In 2017, Rodrigue produced and directed his first film, Is It Punk Music?, a documentary about two young brothers escaping their British countryside to make punk music in London. Following that, Rodrigue directed other musical documentaries including the deeply moving Are You Still Here? for Canal+, which tells the story of the French band Her’s final tour, held in the wake of the untimely passing of co-founder Simon Carpentier.

When it comes to fiction, Rodrigue likes it when it gets dark and tense. On can see in his debut short film, Transylvanie (2023), about a 10-year-old girl who’s convinced of being a vampire and behaves in the creepiest way to prove it to the world.  The film received widespread acclaim and was awarded at numerous festivals around the world (Gérardmer, SXSW, Méliès d’Argent, BIFFF, San Sebastián Horror Festival, Bogoshorts...). Since then, he directed Réel, a self-produced short that blends found footage horror with... period drama. The film premiered at NIFFF and Fantasia, then went on to screen widely and won the Méliès d’Argent at Ramaskrik.

Rodrigue is currently developing several feature films in France, including Domination, a follow-up to Transylvanie about two misfit teenagers taking orders from a creepypasta boogeyman. Following the success of Transylvanie at SXSW, he is also developing projects in the US, including a contemporary adaptation of the cult horror film Who Can Kill a Child? for 18Hz and Paramount, as well as a Conjuring prequel he is attached to direct for New Line.
